This past weekend was MEA break and we took full advantage of the beautiful fall weather. Alan is currently working night shifts at a VERY wealthy apartment building in St. Paul, giving us more time together in the evenings, which is usually spent cooking dinner and playing Mexican Train Dominoes. We spent one day with Bentley at the dog park and playing Rock Band 2. Sara's best friend Kristen and baby Tate were in town over the weekend so Sara drove up to Cambridge to have lunch and do some shopping. Tate has gotten so big0 it's hard to believe he'll be 1 in a few weeks! Sara's sister and her boyfriend were also home from school so the entire family came over for make-your-own pizzas on Friday night!
We have been spending our Sundays lately watching Tamara (Alan's sister) play soccer for the Gophers, who are currently 14-2. Last Friday Tam scored the game winning goal to beat Purdue 1-0! After the game everyone always heads back to Alan's parents' house for a big family-style dinner and the football game.
